G14 - L4 Winner (Arrowhead, NJ)

The last few days were pretty cool. I left Miami last week for an L4 tournament in New Jersey. I felt good with my game, so I felt good coming into the tournament. All my matches were great and I was happy with how I played and how I was mentally. On the last day, Sunday, the semis was a close one but happy to have found a way to win. In the finals I played well and won. I felt like everything was going my way in the finals. I won the L4 and I am proud of myself because the last couple weeks I’ve been working hard at training and I always took the extra time to do more work, like serves after practice. The thing that I really improved this weekend was my serve and I could really count on it on the important points. I feel like winning this L4 helped me boost my confidence because, to be honest, after my injury I’ve been struggling with my confidence. I would like to thank @tieronetennis @savianotennis for always believing in me. So it was a great weekend.

Then, right after my tournament we went to New York! I was really excited to go to the US Open and was looking forward to this for a while. On Monday it was an amazing experience. I got to watch Sebastian Korda, Ben Shelton, Simona Halep, Dominic Thiem, and Shelby Rogers! I also got to see my favorite, Jannik Sinner, practice. And a bit of Rafa Nadal! It was a great day. I would also like to thank @rgomez10s for making it a special experience watching in the box Arantxa Rus vs Shelby Rogers! Learned a lot! Now back to Miami and grinding tomorrow!
